MESSAGE from the DEAN
วิทยาลัยการจัดการ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล (CMMU) ของเราได้มีโอกาสร่วมเดินทางไป Strategic Trip in Switzerland and Netherlands กับมหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในวันที่ 7 – 13 พฤษภาคม 2566 เพื่อริเริ่มและสานต่อความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัย Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), ETH Zurich, University of Groningen, Maastricht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam และ Leiden University.

มหาวิทยาลัยแรกคือ Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) นั้นเรามีความร่วมมือในเรื่องของ Student Exchange และกำลังดำเนินการความร่วมมือในเรื่อง Double Degree อยู่ ตรงนี้ขอบคุณอาจารย์ Astrid และ Myrna จากแผนก IR นะคะ มหาวิทยาลัยสวย ปลอดภัย มีมาตรฐานระดับโลก เด็กๆต้องอยากไปแน่ๆ รวมถึงไอเดียใหม่ที่เกิดจากการพูดคุยหลักสูตรที่เป็นความร่วมมือจากหลายคณะรวมถึง CMMU น่าจะเกิดขึ้น รอชมค่ะ

University of Groningen และ Maastricht University เรายังไม่มีความร่วมมือ จากการพูดคุย ทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยมีความสนใจในการดำเนินการความร่วมมือกับทางเรา ที่น่าสนใจคือ Maastricht University นั้นใช้ Problem-Based Learning เป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนการเรียนรู้ซึ่งเหมือนกันกับเรา ความร่วมมือในด้านอื่นตามมาแน่นอน โชคดีที่เรามี AACSB นะคะ มิฉะนั้นจะไม่มีการคุยต่อใดๆ กับทุกมหาวิทยาลัย ในส่วนของ Erasmus University Rotterdam เราน่าจะมีความร่วมมือในมุมของความยั่งยืน Director ของ Positive Change Initiative มาเล่าให้เราฟังว่าเขาทำอะไรบ้างในมุมของ SDG ล้ำหน้ามากมาย คู่ควรกับการเรียนรู้ค่ะ ส่วน ETH Zurich และ Leiden University มีความเกี่ยวข้องกับเราน้อยหน่อยเพราะเน้นทางด้านการแพทย์และเทคโนโลยีเป็นหลัก

อาจารย์หายไปอาทิตย์นึง คิดถึง CMMU อย่างบอกไม่ถูก ทุกที่ที่ไป โอกาสอยู่รอบตัวเราจริงๆ มองเห็นความร่วมมือ การต่อยอดและประโยชน์ของ CMMU งานเพิ่มขึ้นอีกเยอะ แต่สุดท้ายแล้วเพื่อความเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนของเรา OneCMMU ค่ะ

From May 7 th -13 th 2023, College of Management Mahidol University (CMMU) had the opportunity to join with Mahidol University to participate in a Strategic Trip in Switzerland and the Netherlands. The purpose of this trip was to initiate and strengthen the collaboration with Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), ETH Zurich, University of Groningen, Maastricht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and Leiden University.

Firstly, at Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), we have collaborated in the form of student exchange program, and currently, we are in the process of establishing a double degree program. My thanks go to Ajarn Astrid and Myrna from IR. Our students would love to go to such a safe, beautiful, and world class university like this one. And, there will be more new and interesting programs from the collaboration of many faculties, including CMMU. We shall wait and see.

University of Groningen and Maastricht University have not started the collaboration with us yet. However, after the discussion, both universities have expressed their interest. Interestingly, Maastricht University also applies problem-based learning as their driving learning tool just like CMMU. So, we should learn a lot from each other. There will certainly be other kinds of collaboration. Having AACSB accreditation is absolutely one key factor to be thankful to, otherwise, the dialogue with every university might not have gone this smoothly. With Erasmus University Rotterdam, we should be able to collaborate in the form of sustainability. The Director of Positive Change Initiative told us about so many innovative projects they have initiated to contribute to the SDG. All worth studying. ETH Zurich and Leiden University have little concern with CMMU, since these two universities focus mainly on medicine and technology.

I was gone for one week and I miss CMMU so very much. Everywhere I went, I saw opportunities all around for collaborations, extensions, for strengths and benefits for CMMU. More work, of course; but in the end, for the sustainable growth of us all, OneCMMU.
