Message from the Dean
April 13th of every year is Songkran Day, or Thai traditional New Year’s Day. For this festival, Thai people pour jasmine scented water on the hands of our beloved and respected elderly relatives to pay respect to them. It is also to ask for their forgiveness in case we have committed anything that hurt their feelings unknowingly or unintentionally and to ask for their blessings. It is also believed that when we pour scented water on each other for fun, we are cleansing and purifying our mind and spirit, and wash away all the bad things with the water.
I wish you OneCMMU begin the new year with all the joy, good luck, and happiness. #OneCMMU 💙🧡
